Rack Details

  • Frame - made from 6.35mm (1/4”) titanium grade 5 alloy bar (Ti-6AL-4V).  Formed into a U shape 230mm (9”) long with ¼”x20 UNC threaded ends.  A dome nut and hex jam nut retain the bars.  This design is compact, reliable and allows for ease of bar replacement.

  • Brake Bars – made from 15.875mm (5/8”) titanium grade 9 alloy tube (Ti-3AL-2.5V).  Cut to a standard length of 50mm, the first two wear bars (1 & 2) are supplied in a heavy wall thickness of 1.65mm (0.065”).  The second three bars generally do not wear thus are supplied in a thinner wall of 0.89mm (0.035”).  Bars 2 & 4 have a machined curved slot for opening the bars.  The drilling and slots are 6.50mm diameter at 30.00mm centers.
